Social Connection and Wellbeing: A study of Evryman’s 6-Week Online Program
Evryman and an independent research team (Dr. Ellen Choi, Tyler Hudson, and Dr. Allen Sabey) are inviting approximately men enrolled in the Foundations Program to participate in a study on the effects of Evryman’s 6-week online program.
The purpose of this study is to examine how the online training experience impacts attitudes, wellbeing, and relationships.
What you will be asked to do:
You will be asked to complete 2 online surveys that ask questions about your demographics, attitudes and behaviors. Each survey takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and you will be asked to complete the survey before training, and after training. We also ask that you complete a 30 minute interview with a member of the research team after the training has finished.
Additionally, we ask that you invite one or two people you know well to be interviewed so that we can better understand whether any transformation from the training is detectable by others. These interviews will also be approximately 30 minutes.

The person/people that you invite to be interviewed will be entered into a draw to win a $100 USD Amazon gift card. Winning participants will receive their gift card through their email address at the end of this study.

More about the Evryman Program: Why is “emotional expression” important for guys? The EVRYMAN philosophy has answered that question by helping hundreds of men connect to each other and lead more successful, fulfilling lives. Using a science-based interactive curriculum that can be practiced individually and in a group of likeminded men—some call it “emotional CrossFit"— the EVRYMAN approach works to set aside cultural norms. Through somatic mindfulness, meditation, and most of all, the support and perspectives of other guys near and far, learn the tools and benefits of emotional expression and how to use them in everyday interactions, difficult conversations, and decision making.
